Manage property
When you open a property, you land on the property's detail page. Here you manage the rooms, add photos and can ultimately generate a report.
At the top you see the property's name, the type, the number of photos and the creation date. Below that you find a button to generate the report and the Manage property menu to change the property's settings.
The "Manage property" menu
At the top right of the page you find the Manage property button. Via this menu you reach all actions and settings for the property:
- Edit property: change the name, description and type, and set the report parameters
- Room order: determine the order in which rooms are shown (only visible with more than one room)
- Main photo: set a main photo for the cover of the inspection report
- Address details: complete the property's address
- Parties: add the people involved (landlord, tenant, …)
- Clone property: make a copy of the property with all its rooms and settings
- Transfer property: transfer the property to another team member (only visible within a team)
- Delete property: delete the property
Move-in and move-out
For a property of type Rental move-in, two tabs appear at the top: Move-in and Move-out. This lets you easily switch between the move-in and move-out inspection of the same property.
As long as no move-out exists yet, you can create one via the Move-out tab. This is only possible after a report has been generated for the move-in. Read more at Create move-out.
Setting the room order
Via Room order you can determine the order of rooms by giving each room an order number. The room order affects how rooms are shown in the application and is also used for the logical structure of the report. After saving, the rooms are displayed according to this order.
Display of rooms
At the top right you can switch between grid view and list view. This lets you choose the view that works best when managing rooms. The chosen view is remembered for your next visits.
Default rooms
A new property includes two rooms by default:
- Meter readings: for photos of the meter readings
- Keys: for photos of the keys to be handed over
These rooms appear under the Other section and can be used as a fixed place for this kind of information. If you know in advance that you won't use these rooms, you can indicate this while creating the property via the More options button.
Generating a report
Via the Generate report button you start creating a report for this property. If no rooms or photos have been added yet, this button is disabled.
