Transfer property

With Transfer property you hand a property over entirely to another member of your team. This is handy when a colleague takes over the file, or when you redistribute work within the team.

Transfer property is only available when you are part of a team with at least one other member.

Transferring a property

Open the property you want to transfer.
Click Manage property.
Choose Transfer property.
Select the team member you want to transfer the property to and confirm.

What happens during a transfer?

During a transfer, the entire property goes to the chosen team member:

all rooms and photos
all reports and settings

The files are fully preserved. After the transfer, the other team member becomes the owner of the property and it appears for that person under My properties.

Transferring is only possible within the same team. You transfer your own properties to another team member.

Properties you created before your team membership remain personal and cannot be transferred.

Difference with cloning

With cloning you make a copy within your own properties (without photos). With transferring you move the existing property, with all photos and reports, to someone else; afterwards you no longer have access to it.
