Rooms
A room represents a separate space within a property, such as an entrance hall, living room, bedroom or bathroom. Rooms form the structure of your report and contain the photos that ImmoHabits analyzes.
Rooms in the workflow
Rooms come immediately after creating a property. Once you've added rooms, you can upload photos and generate a report.
The typical order is:
- Create a property
- Add rooms
- Upload photos
- Generate the report
Properties of a room
Each room has at least a name. In addition, you can optionally provide a floor. This helps to group rooms logically in the overview and in the final report.
- Name: required (for example: Entrance hall, Kitchen, Bathroom)
- Floor: optional (for example: Ground floor, First floor, Basement)
Room overview
When you open a property, you see the overview of all rooms within that property. Each room is shown as a block with the room name and an indication of the number of photos in that room.
From this overview you can open rooms to add photos, or manage rooms via the options per room.
Default rooms
Depending on your settings, two default rooms may be present automatically:
- Meter readings: intended for photos of meter readings
- Keys: intended for photos of keys to be handed over
These rooms help give common information a fixed place within a property.
Next step
Continue with Add room to add a new room to your property.
