My team

Via My team you manage your team: you can create a team, invite members, follow up invitations and (depending on your role) remove members.

Creating a team

When you open this page for the first time and you are not yet part of a team, you can create a team. By default, the company name from your billing details is filled in as the team name, but you can change this freely.

After creating the team you automatically become the Administrator of this team.

All members of a team use the same token balance and the same billing details. This means that purchases and usage happen at team level.

Inviting members

On the right of the page you can invite team members by entering an email address and clicking Send. The invited person receives an email and sees a notification in the application that an invitation is waiting.

As long as the invitation has not been accepted, it appears as an active invitation on the team page. An Administrator can cancel an invitation via the red cross  .

Accepting or declining an invitation

If you have been invited to a team yourself, you see a block with the invitation on the My team page. You can accept or decline this invitation.

On acceptance you switch entirely to the team context. In concrete terms, this means that your token usage and token balance run via the team from then on.

Once you join a team, you lose access to your personal token balance. This is important to know if you still had personal tokens.

Roles within a team

There are two roles: Administrator and Member. Both roles can see members and send invitations. Administrators have extra options, such as removing members and managing permissions.

  • Administrator: can remove members, cancel invitations and manage permissions
  • Member: can see members and send invitations

Leaving or deleting a team

A member can leave the team via the red Leave team button at the bottom. An Administrator cannot leave a team. As Administrator you can remove all members. When you are the last one left, the Delete team option appears.

A team can only be deleted when there are no other members left in the team.

Properties of a removed member

As Administrator you can remove a member (not another administrator) from the team. When removing, you choose via the Transfer projects to option what happens to that member's properties:

  • Choose another team member to transfer the removed member's team properties (including photos and reports) to.
  • Choose — Don't transfer — to not move the properties. The properties then stay with the removed member.
Properties that the member created before their team membership always remain personal and are never transferred along.

Next step

Continue with Manage permissions to determine whether team members may see each other's properties and whether they may place orders.
