Clone property

With Clone property you quickly make a copy of an existing property, including all rooms and settings. This is handy when you have several similar properties, or when you want to reuse a fixed room structure as a starting point.

Cloning a property

1. Open the property you want to copy.
2. Click Manage property.
3. Choose Clone property.

A window opens in which you set two things:

• New name: by default the original's name is reused with the suffix (copy). You can freely change it.
• Inspection type: Rental move-in, Works / structural or Other. This way a clone can immediately get a different type than the original.

Click Clone property to create the copy. The new property appears at the top of your property list.

What is copied?

When cloning, the following are carried over:

• all rooms of the original property
• all settings and parameters (address details, parties, layout, …)

Difference with move-out and transfer

• Cloning creates an independent copy within your own properties, without photos.
• Create move-out creates a linked move-out inspection from a move-in.
• Transfer property moves a property (with photos and reports) to another team member.
