Photos

Photos form the basis of every report in ImmoHabits. You always upload photos within a room, so the AI model can immediately place the images in the right context.

After uploading, the photos are used to generate professional inspection reports and to build the report.

Photos in the workflow

In the logical workflow, photos come after creating your property and rooms:

  1. Create a property
  2. Add rooms
  3. Upload photos
  4. Generate the report

Uploading per room

Each room contains its own set of photos. The number of photos you can upload is unlimited, both per room and per property. The price of a report, however, is related to the total number of photos processed. More information about this follows in the Pricing section.

Photo numbers

The photo numbers (e.g. Photo 1, Photo 2, etc.) are always calculated automatically based on their order and the order of the rooms.

Photo 1 is always the first photo of the room with the lowest order number. You can therefore only change the photo numbers by changing the order of the rooms and of the photos within the rooms.

After generating the report you can download a zip with all photos used in high quality. The file names of the photos will match the numbering used in the application and in the report (e.g. Photo 1.jpg, Photo 2.jpg, etc.).

Surface grouping

Depending on the chosen surface grouping, you upload photos in one of two ways:

  • 1 step (no grouping): you upload all photos of a room at once. This is the most used and fastest method.
  • 6 steps (grouping): you upload photos per surface or wall (for example wall 1-4 or North/East/South/West). You therefore distribute your photos over the correct group beforehand.
Preferably choose no grouping if you want to work fast. The AI model can usually estimate well what belongs to which wall or zone.

Allowed file formats

The following photo formats are allowed:

  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
  • PNG (.png)
  • WebP (.webp)
  • GIF (.gif)
  • HEIC / HEIF
If a file can't be uploaded, check whether it is one of the formats above. When in doubt, you can export the photo to JPEG or PNG and try again.

Quality, resolution and file size

The exact resolution or file size is not critical. We do of course recommend using sharp photos (enough light, not blurred).

ImmoHabits optimizes photos automatically: we resize and compress to an optimal ratio between quality and file size, so that uploading and processing stay smooth.
